Three respected Bay artists recently took the plunge and held a successful major art exhibition at Nelson Bay Golf Club.
Nada Yonge, Nikki Water & Robyn Killen have been working tirelessly to put together a great body of works for their exhibition of paintings called Through Our Eyes.
Nada, Nikki and Robyn are well known local artists, all who share a great love of art, and have known each other for many years.
Nada Yonge told News Of The Area, “We have worked tirelessly together in support of the local Port Stephens Community Arts Centre and it has been our common interest in art that resulted in this exhibition.”
She believes that the exhibition “Through Our Eyes” was a true depiction of the artist’s interpretation of their experience through life.
“The exhibition was very successful, we had a great opening night that was well attended,” she said.
Artist Robyn Killen, has a true love of landscape painting, she is a very accomplished artist in the use of oils, her works being highly sort after locally and interstate.
Artist Nikki Waters finds expression in a wide range of media including watercolour, acrylic, oil, pastel and ink.

Nada’s works in vibrant acrylics help her to express the many moods of our beautiful beaches and coast line.
For those interested in expanding their artistic skills Nada also conducts workshops at the Port Stephens Community Arts Centre.
