
SOLDIERS Point Public School lies on the shores of beautiful Port Stephens and is a Kindergarten to Year 6 school with a dynamic and caring learning environment.

This year the school celebrates 70 years and will commemorate the huge milestone later in the year.
Soldiers Point Public School has retained the best aspects of a small country school while meeting the needs of a growing and changing community.
The school aims to provide a happy and safe learning environment with an emphasis on the acquisition of literacy, numeracy and social skills and the achievement of excellence and has an Opportunity Class (OC) which caters for the needs of academically gifted students.
Saturday April 29 from 8am – 12pm will see the second Annual Garage Sale take place on the grounds of the school.
Soldiers Point Public School is situated in Cromarty Road, Soldiers Point.
There will be a huge range of quality second hand household goods including kitchen items, toys, gardening and sporting items, clothing, books and bric a brac.
“Donations have been gratefully received from the school and local community and we would like to thank everyone for their generosity,” Ms Kirsty Webb, P&C Fundraising committee member told Bay News Of The Area.
Egg and Bacon Rolls, sausage sandwiches, tea and coffee and a cake stall will be available on the day.
“All funds raised will provide classroom equipment and technology,” Ms Webb said.
