THE Combined Probus Club of Medowie held its 2018 Annual General Meeting recently and elected a new committee to guide it through the coming year.

Some members were elected to the committee for the first time while for others it was another year in the job.
Paul Murrant was elected as President for his first time on the committee, while for his Vice-President, Paul Griffiths it was another year in the job.
Secretary Kevin Tomlinson and Treasurer Dave Thomas have both been re-elected.
Two newcomers to the committee are Diann Colman as Membership Officer and Lyn Clarke as Outings and Activities Officer.
Dawn Patterson remains as Hospitality Officer while Geoffrey Hamilton has taken over the Guest Speaker Officer’s job.
Ann Tomlinson remains as Welfare Officer and Terry Corcoran remains the Publicity Officer and Newsletter Editor.
Leaving the committee are Past President Neville White, former Activities Officer Susan Humphries and former Membership Officer, Joy Waugh who have all spent some time in these roles.
The club meets at the Medowie Community Centre on the third Wednesday of each month except December.
The meetings commence at 10am and are followed by a morning tea in the hall.
Most meetings feature an interesting guest speaker.
