As one of the founding members of the Myall Coast publication, Tea Gardens Ann Scully was instrumental in establishing the Myall Coast News Of The Area after the Nota was discontinued in 2014.

Off the back of its success, Publisher of the independent News Of The Area papers, Michael Wright launched Medowie News Of The Area in June this year.

From all reports, the people of Medowie, Salt Ash and Williamtown absolutely love their hyperlocal news each week.

Following this successful format, the new Port Stephens paper Bay News Of The Area will cover the Tomaree peninsula.

The new publication brings the combined total distribution of News Of The Area to over 13000 free copies each week, saturating the areas with local news written by local writers who are passionate about their communities.

Every edition of the publications will continue to be available in both print and digital formats supported online with social media and a dedicated website.

Bay News Of The Area will hit the newsstands in the Tomaree area on Thursday 6 October.
