The iconic Bunnings ‘snag and a cool drink’ went into superdrive, with each store running all day barbecues on a Friday, instead of their usual saturday and sunday charity days, in support of Rural Aid’s Buy a Bale Campaign.
News Of The Area attended the Heatherbrae Bunnings Store in Raymond Terrace, watching the line to be served increase until it stretched across both sides of the storefront opening.
Bunnings team members got behind the BBQ at each sausage sizzle from 9am till 4pm, with every cent raised going directly to Rural Aid’s ‘Buy a Bale Campaign’.
Funds raised in this campaign will go towards livestock feed and household essentials for drought affected families and communities in every impacted state.
