The School of Arts at Bulahdelah was full of heel, toe action on Friday 1 May. St. Joseph’s Catholic School decided to hold a Bush Dance this year as a fundraising event.
A huge thank you goes out to the band “Ruaile Buaile”, say the organisers, who had young and old up on their feet dancing the night away.
“The aim was to have an event where the whole community could come together and simply enjoy each other’s company,” explained Joanne Trotter, Principal of the school.
It was a joint effort with the whole school involved.
The principal of the school, the teachers and many parents and students set up, cooked and served food, danced to the music and then took time to clean up.
It was a successful night for the P&F as there were many attendees who got involved with the dances and had a good social time.
