Participants will gain knowledge and skills that will make them safer and better divers including safe entry and exit of the ocean, the use of A-Flags, how to avoid shallow water blackout, and prop safety. There are prizes (including a prize for the most rubbish collected) and a barbecue at the end of the day. Funding has been provided through a NSW DPI Go Fishing Day Grant.
