The activity is being run between the hours of 2.30pm and 3.30pm and is free to all, but bookings are essential. In the second week of the school holidays, Librarian Carol Johnson will be running the ‘Animals on the Move’ craft afternoon. “Carol will teach them how to make an animal, such as a lizard or a snake that will actually move,” Chris said. “The object of the exercise is to combine art with science, and of course have fun at the same time.” ‘Animals on the Move’ is being held on Wednesday 10 October between 2.30 and 3.30pm. “In both instances, we’re encouraging a family friendly policy with these activities, with both free of charge.” Children under the age of eight need to be supervised by an adult and parents and grandparents are welcome. And if your teenagers are using up all the family internet, don’t forget the Tea Gardens Library offers free wi-fi, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Computers are also available at the Library which is open Monday, Wednesday and Friday, from 9am to 5pm and on Saturday from 9am until Midday. The Library will be closed this coming holiday Monday 1 October.
