The formal has been months in the planning for their special evening, led by their dedicated Year Advisor Ms Sheriff and the student committee.
School Captain Lincoln Hunter commented, ” it was a really enjoyable night, everything went to plan and was better than we ever imagined.”
“We all had great fun”
Head teacher Mrs Wallace was one of many teachers who attended and she said, ” The students were such a credit to the school and came gorgeously attired and were beautifully behaved.”
“A good night was had by all.”
Ms Sheriff, the Year 12 Year Advisor, has seen the students from year seven all the way through their secondary schooling.
She told News Of The Area, “The Year 12 students did themselves and the school proud at the Formal last week, and they are to be congratulated on the mature and responsible way they conducted themselves throughout the whole evening.”
“They have grown in maturity since they began at Irrawang and wowed us with their stunning outfits and sophisticated presentation.”
“The students took on a lot of responsibility for the organisation of the event and the night was really well received by everyone who attended.”
“It has been a joy to be their Year Adviser,” she said.
News Of The Area wishes Year 12 of Irrawang High School all the very best for their future endeavours.
