To commemorate local groups that help Women Westpac Bank Manager, Jason Russell, responded to an Australia-wide competition organised by Head Office to recognise International Women’s Day.
Christine Walton told News Of The Area, “The request was to nominate a group which helps local women.
“Jason immediately thought of Tomaree Breast Cancer Support Group Inc as he has worked closely with President Taurie Lalor and her Group in the past,” she said.
The submissions went before a judging panel and Jason was successful.
Recently Jason presented Westpac’s cheque for $500 to Taurie and her newly-appointed Committee members: Virginia Smith (Treasurer) and Jan Puckeridge (Secretary).
