Australian Geographic Adventures is an upcoming television series that draws inspiration from a defining trait of Australians, reflecting our great Aussie sense of adventure.
Season one was launched on Saturday 23 May airing on Channel Nine and WIN at 4pm. Hosts David Reyne and Caroline Pemberton travel the length of the east coast in search of extraordinary stories and experiences, before the 10 episode series culminates in the tropics of Queensland.
Episode five which will be televised on Saturday 20 June at 4pm, will see host David Reyne go in search of sun and sea as he journeys south from Seal rocks into our own backyard here in the Great Lakes and Port Stephens Regions, as they experience some very special animal encounters.
BIG 4 Karuah Jetty Holiday Park were lucky enough to be chosen by the producers to be presented in the show as one of many beautiful accommodation options for the region.
BIG 4 Manager Robyn Turner told Myall Coast News, “Our recent 2015 TripAdvisor Excellence Award and 2014 CCIA NSW Excellence in Environment Award has given us a lot of confidence that our ethics and principles are on track, giving way to increasing Karuah’s profile as a holiday destination. We Pride ourselves on sustainable work practices to ensure the Karuah River and Port Stephens waterways are preserved for future generations who reside and holiday here.”
