WE live to play another game of footy in the run for a spot in the Grand Final.
This week the Karuah Roos took on the Windale Eagles at Lakeside Oval Raymond Terrace in an elimination final.
The Roos kicked off and from the first touch of the ball it was hard and fast with big hits going left and right from both sides.
Great metres were made by Matt Croese who gives it his all week in and week out, the Langdon Brothers Ben and Jake were a force to be reckoned with or with put the ball.

With under 15mins to go in the first half the Roos #18 Mick Booby crossed for his first try of the season 4/0.

It wasn’t very long after the Roos scored that the Eagles were in for their first try 6/4 Eagles in front.
With just over a minute to go in the first half Karuah Work Horse #3 Josh Page was in and on the half time bell #6 Sam Croese converted putting the Roos in front at half time 10/6.
The second half started like the first with both teams wanting this win.
But within 4min of the second half #4 for the Roos Jake Langdon was in and #6 Sam Croese converting taking the Roos to 16 Eagles 6.
Then within a few minutes #3 Josh Page was in for his second of the game which he also converted 22 Roos 6 Eagles.
The legs were pumping hard and fast by Ben Langdon, Jack Croese, Luke Perry, Jake Langdon, Aden Callaghan, Mitch O’Bryan, Luke Chapman, Josh Page, Sam Croese, Dwayne Fleming, Matt Cameron, Matt Croese, Matt Weatherall, Darren Weatherall.
Great kick and chase by Daniel Evans.
With in 10min from his last try #3 Josh Page was in for his hat trick for the day and Sam converting once again pulling the Roos further in front 28/6.

With about 15 to go #2 Luke Perry was over the try line for the Roos 6th try of the day and Sam converted his 4 try of the day putting the well in front 34/6.
Windale wasn’t going home with out a fight and they dug deep and it payed off with about 8 ins to go they put on 2 quick tries to take the final score to Karuah Roos 34 Windale Eagles 18.
The Roos will now take on the Gloucester as they were defeated by Hinton who are straight into the Grand Final on the 10th Sep.
