Here’s some of my favourite love stories from the area. Emma Hague and Nathan Hague “Nathan and I have always lived in Raymond Terrace. “We both went to Raymond Terrace Public School and knew each other’s’ friends but never quite crossed paths. “I had a crush on Nathan from day one. “We met in Year Seven and used to play footsies under the table and would get in trouble from the teacher for it. We’re known as the high school sweethearts of our year and have been together for eleven years married and have a wonderful baby girl.” Rachael Roberts and Neville McDermott “I met my fiancé Neville about fifteen years ago as he was my neighbour in the next street. “Growing up, we lived in a suburb about from each other in Newcastle and then we both ended up moving to Anna Bay nearly twenty years ago, and somehow managed to still be only metres away from each other. “We’ve been together seven years this May, and we’re still travelling Australia and loving every minute of it. “We couldn’t be happier, we have so much in common and can always be completely ourselves when we’re together.” By Tara CAMPBELL Neville McDermott and Rachael Roberts together.
