The front yard of Christy Archer ’s parents home in James Road undertook a breathtaking transformation over two days, with many interested locals speculating excitedly about what the finished event would look like.
They were not disappointed, with the family home coming to life in a whimsical, vintage wedding full of warm lighting, timeless decorating and sweet little touches across the event, which was styled to perfection.
Their wedding was planned down to the very last, thoughtful, heartfelt detail from polaroid photo stations, to gifts of thongs for their guests to be able to dance the night away in comfort.
Almost every piece and every little detail of the wedding was handmade by the couple, their family or friends.
Named the ‘Magical Wedding Love Festival’ by the couple and their friends, the day and evening certainly lived up to its namesake.
Bride Christy told News Of The Area, “It was just magical love-filled day and we enjoyed absolutely every second of the day spent with our gorgeous family and friends.”
The couple were married on the front lawn, walking down a vintage designed aisle, to stand alongside letters nearly two metres tall, spelling out the word Love, that would later light up the gardens for their guests to dance by.
A giant marquee housed chairs and cocktail tables for guests, joined to the main home by strand after strand of warm fairy lights.
