PLAYOFFS are just around the corner for Coffs Harbour’s best sluggers, with the Coffs Harbour Baseball Association’s season headed towards its finals series this month.

The latest round of the season saw the Sawtell/Toormina Dodgers confirm their standing as championship favourites, with the Dodgers maintaining top spot on the ladder with a 12-0 win against the second placed Coffs Harbour Allstars.

The Bellingen Brewers and Woolgoolga Bluesox played out a Saturday afternoon thriller with the Brewers winning a tight one 7-6.

B-grade action saw the Woolgoolga Bluesox consolidate top spot on the ladder with a 12-8 win against the Bellingen Brewers.

The Coffs Harbour Baseball Association season continues with matches tomorrow afternoon at the Coffs Coast Sport & Leisure Park.
