The women’s first season was in 2018 and have worked hard to form a cohesive and competitive team. “Considering about half of the women have never played before, they did really well,” Mr McKimm told News Of The Area, “One of my goals as President is to form a senior men’s team in the next two to three years.” Mr McKimm’s young sons are also part of the Club, motivating his decision to stand as President. Mr McKimm said, “My boys both play for the Club and I enjoy watching them play.” “We are a family focussed Club.” “AFL is an exciting game to watch live.” Encouraging more people to play, Mr McKimm said, “It’s good for fitness, our Club offers a friendly environment, and the coaches are approachable.” By Heather SHARP Noah McKimm focuses on the game.
