Port Stephens venues excluding people with Northern Beaches postcodes

WITH a second wave of Covid-19 sweeping the Northern Beaches in Sydney, Tilligerry businesses are very keen to exclude possible carriers.

The severe restrictions imposed during the initial scare do not apply, but clubs and tourist venues will require identification verification before entry is permitted.

We checked with the RSL, Club Lemon Tree, the Motel and our Holiday Park and they all confirmed that any individual with a postcode from the Manly Warringah district listed in the lockdown area will not be given entry.

Tilligerry Habitat has gone one step further.

After people allegedly gave false addresses during the first lockdown, they are taking no chances this time.

The tourist centre has shut.

It will be unattended although residents and visitors can wander the boardwalks and nature trails looking for koalas and other native wildlife in the waterfront sanctuary.
