And if you give as much effort as they do, maybe one day you could too!

Last year Raymond Terrace Soccer Club (RTSC) fielded two teams in an all-girls MiniRoos league.

The girls had a brilliant season improving skills, forging friendships and developing a love of the game.

RTSC is committed to increasing female soccer participation in the community.

Holly Moore from Raymond Terrace Soccer Club told News Of The Area, “Our aim is to provide a fun, inclusive and friendly environment to help players grow.”

“Soccer is great for fitness, building confidence, developing social skills and a fun way to meet new friends.”

Training is held one afternoon a week at King Park.

Games are played on a Saturday mornings alternating between the Raymond Terrace Soccer Club home grounds, and other Newcastle based grounds.

Holly said, “This season we’re hoping to have even more girls out there experiencing our wonderful game.”

“If you think your daughter might be interested in playing, please come along and let her have a go.”

“But please hurry, as our registration period ends soon.”
