As a travel consultant with Altitude Travel in Tea Gardens, Keiran was recently recognised for her outstanding work skills, winning Australia wide recognition by taking out the ‘Rising Star Award’ across the Helloworld Associate brands.
Keiran and Altitude Travel Manager Donna Howarth travelled to Hobart for a three day conference with 600 other Helloworld delegates, the highlight being a gala dinner to announce the awards.
25 year old Keiran said, “I knew I was nominated, but I didn’t find out I was a finalist until we got to Tasmania.”
“I was very surprised, but very proud.”
The criteria for the award was that you had to be in the travel industry for more than 2 years, provide excellent customer service, embrace self development, training and knowledge to improve skill sets, show innovation and the initiative to think outside the square.
Keiran ticked all the boxes.
“I’ve expanded our social media platforms on Instagram and Facebook, I’ve put out flyers that I’ve created myself and put together three presentations.”
Most importantly for Keiran, it’s all about making her clients happy.
“I love planning, being excited with clients, watching them sit there and get all excited with the holiday I’ve created, it makes me feel so good.”
Keiran plans to use her $2,000 first prize holiday voucher to go to Egypt, just one of the many places on her own personal bucket list.
