He also worked in Moree for more than three and a half years prior to this.

Rob, who has lived in the Tea Gardens area for the past two years with his wife and three children, said when he was offered the position at this station, it was an easy choice to make.

“I am looking forward to working with Senior Constable Coyle who is a hard working police officer with the same passion for policing the community, in which we live, as I do.”

Senior Constable Wylie is very approachable and encourages any person with information about illegal activities, of any kind, to contact him.

He said, “Any information will always be treated in the strictest confidence.”

Rob is currently speaking with part-time resident and boxing trainer Phil Wallis about getting a boxing gym up and running in the area.

“I would welcome any suggestions or input from interested members of the community,” he said.

“Phil has been training boxers for 25 years and is passionate about the sport of boxing and spends a lot of his time in the Tea Gardens area.”
