This weekend however, they have booked a band to play, and it is definitely one to check out.

The Fedz is an exciting three-piece covers band playing all your favourite songs from the seventies, eighties, nineties, and through to the present day.

The Fedz have had a lot of experience playing in the live music scene in Newcastle and Port Stephens over the past twelve years and are guaranteed to put on a toe-tapping show.

The Fedz consist of three experienced musicians, James Body, Lead Vocal and bass guitar, David Rudder lead vocal and guitar, and John Shelton on drums and backing vocals.

James Body started his musical career in the Australian Army playing all over the country as a piper in the Australian Army Pipes Band.

On leaving the Army he took up the bass guitar.

During the show he will be playing bass guitar, bagpipes, acoustic guitar and singing lead vocal.

James is looking forward to the challenges of playing as a three-piece band.

David Rudder has been playing and performing music in the Newcastle Music scene on and off since about the age of 20 and is an experienced and powerful guitar player.

David will be playing rhythm and lead guitar, bass guitar and singing lead vocal and backing vocals.

John Shelton just loves his music and is an extremely talented drummer, who was a founding member of the Covers Band 24 Hours before joining The Fedz.

The Fedz are looking forward to playing the Spinning Wheel Hotel on Friday 15 December, get down and support the Spinning Wheel Hotel and their love for live music.
