Thursday 28 July: Thankfully the weather was slightly better than Tuesday but wind gusts did prove a challenge to most bowlers especially the novice ones. The final of the Club Fours Championship was held today, both teams played well, the winners were Karen Mcphie, Vicki Rankin, Lyn Green and Lorraine Harvey with a score of 25 defeating Kerry Faber, Carol Hayden, Wendy Brand and Nola Jackson scoring 14. The Umpire was Kathie Rimmer and the Controlling Body, Margaret Smith. Thanks to all the spectators who came to watch the game I know they would have appreciated the effort put in by both teams.
