Last year local resident and Award-Winning Pianist, Michael Harvey, brought us ‘The Piano Story’.
Since then he has been reworking and revising the show and now brings to Tea Gardens the brilliance of that show with a few exciting additions, both musically and visually.
You will hear Michael play his great selection of our favourite piano compositions from Bach and Beethoven, Scott Joplin and Winifred Atwell, Duke Ellington, Liberace, Ferrante and Teicher, Richard Clayderman, Jerry Lee Lewis, Elton John, Billy Joel, Yiruma, and many more.
Michael’s Performance, with Narration and Visual Presentation throughout this 80-minute show, will again delight music and piano lovers of all generations.
As always, Michael will make a generous donation from the concert ticket sales and this time has chosen The Samaritan Children’s Christmas Box Appeal, and the Vinnies Drought Relief Appeal to be the recipients from the two concerts.
There will also be an opportunity for people to make a separate donation to Drought Relief on the day, if they so wish, as well as Michael pledging a further generous donation from his CD and Merchandise sales.
The customary and complimentary glass of champagne or juice, will be available on arrival at both concerts, which will be held at St Stephen’s Catholic Parish Centre in Witt Street Tea Gardens.
Concert details are; Saturday 1 September, 5:30pm arrival for a 6pm show, and Sunday 2 September, 2.30pm arrival for a 3pm Show.
Tickets are on sale now at Altitude Travel Tea Gardens.
