Two lucky winners were notified they had won the Myall Coast News colouring-in competition. Aaris Hunter from Pacific Palms and Jack Browne from Tea Gardens each won a Family Pass to Taronga Zoo.
The competition involved colouring in a picture from the scene of Madagascar.
This was the first competition Aaris Hunter, seven years old, from Smiths Lakes, has won and she was very excited.
She completed the competition over the school holiday period with help from her grandmother so it was a surprise to her mother when she received the news about the win.
Aaris is looking forward to seeing the zebras and giraffes at the zoo.
Jack Browne, from Tea Gardens, is five years old and has already won another colouring-in competition before this one.
His mother commented, “There has been an explosion of colouring in since he has started school.”
Jack is looking forward to going to the zoo with his family.
He has two younger brothers, William, who is three years old and Alistair, who is eight months old.
Jack wants to see an elephant, William is excited about seeing an echidna and for Alistair, it will be his first time to the zoo.
Both families were delighted to hear the news and accept the prizes on behalf of their children.
