Tomaree Youth Community Action Incorporated (TYCA) is keen for new volunteers to join their committee to help youth fulfil their potential.

The organisation’s Annual General Meeting is Wednesday 26 July 2017 from 5.00pm at Tomaree Library, Salamander Bay.

Interested community members are encouraged to come along.

President Jamie Brewster said that no special skills were required, “just a genuine interest in working with young people”.

TYCA is made up of a group of enthusiastic volunteers who are dedicated in their united quest to create innovative and inclusive activities.

The organisation was formed in 2010 by the Tomaree community.

TYCA is committed to running events around the Port Stephens area to help our youth engage in the community in positive ways and to enable young people to experience new things.

They hold a range of vibrant events including the popular Snack’n’Rap days at locations including Nelson Bay and Medowie.

“We look forward to seeing you there,” Jamie said.

“Everyone is welcome.”

For any enquiries or to register your interest, please contact TYCA President Jamie Brewster on 0403 170 816.
