Exciting new plans have been released following approval for the development of a brand new purpose-built health centre at Technology Place near the entrance of Newcastle Airport, Williamtown.
The new Central Health Alliance facility is a passion project for popular local GP Dr Paul Burford and will include seven doctor consulting rooms, three nurse stations, a procedure room for minor operations, a pharmacy/chemist, and cosy café for patients to enjoy and relax in while they wait.
The new facility will also feature a specialised allied health centre including physiotherapy, psychology, podiatry, pathology, dietician, occupational therapist and specialist consulting rooms.
Dr Burford said he and his team are looking forward to moving from their temporary building across to the permanent site:
“At Central Health Alliance, our focus is in the provision of compassionate and friendly care that meets the individual needs of each of our patients, as well as innovative, comprehensive, and complete health care for all in the community.
“It’s our goal to be known as the premier health providers in Port Stephens, offering a ‘one stop shop’ for all your health care needs,” Dr Burford told News Of The Area.
The Central Health Alliance team eagerly anticipate the commencement of building the permanent facility which should start in the coming weeks and is expected to be completed in May 2017.
They are currently operating from a temporary surgery at Technology Place, Williamtown adjacent to the new building site and serving patients not only from Port Stephens but attracting hundreds more from all over the Hunter Region.
