$40,000 win at Tea Gardens Country Club

It’s always fantastic to hear of someone having a windfall, and in particular, if it goes to someone who really needs, it is even better news.

On 23 March a carer for his elderly father from Crescent Head collected $40,000 in a group competition run for members of a handful of Clubs including Tea Gardens Country Club.

Speaking with Myall Coast News Of The Area, General Manager of Tea Gardens Country Club said, “It was really fantastic to hear of a worthy winner. I’m sure $40,000 will go a long way for the carer and his father and we wish them all the best.”

The ‘Superdraw’ at Tea Gardens Country Club is also associated with clubs at Wauchope, Crescent Head, Forster, Old Bar, Pacific Palms, Kendall and Laurieton, and all you have to do is be a member of one of those clubs and be present when your name is drawn.

The jackpot amount starts at $10,000 and goes up $1,000 each week.

That wasn’t the only win that week, a member of Tea Gardens Country Club also picked up a cool $3400 on Wednesday 27 March just by being at the club and having their number drawn.

At $5.50 for a year, and with many more weekly events like bingo and raffles, becoming a member of Tea Gardens Country Club may prove to be a lucky move indeed.
