An interesting scene was observed along the Tea Gardens waterfront early Thursday morning.
A reasonably large vessel which looked to be needing some TLC had been driven on to the sand flats opposite the hotel in what was a falling tide and despite the skippers’ attempts to pull it free using a small dory, was there to remain until the next high tide expected that evening.
It’s absence on Friday indicates it was freed on Thursday night.
Guess there are not many better fates than being marooned opposite a pub and enjoying the weather we had on Thursday
