IT is examination time again for a large group of Medowie dancers.
Thirty-eight talented students from Dance N Dazzle complete their ATOD (Australian Teachers of Dancing) Classical Ballet, National Character and Jazz exams on Sunday 28 August.

Dance N Dazzle offer examinations every year in four genres of dance, Tap, Jazz, Classical Ballet and National Character.
The examiner came from Sydney to examine the pupils, and whilst they won’t have results back until October, it is believed that all pupils passed.
The pupils were examined in three groups of Classical Ballet exams – Test 2, Bronze Medal and Silver Star.
They were examined in four groups of Jazz Exams – Test 3, Bronze Star Group A, Bronze start group B and Gold Star.
The school also presented their first ever group of National character – where dances of other cultures are studied.
The youngest student to be examined was five years old, and the eldest was sixteen.
These students have been working all year on their grade work.
Each of the exams improves the students’ technique, ability and overall confidence as well as working towards accreditation for these students.
Students are now working towards competing at Abermain Eisteddfod, near Cessnock which is celebrating its 99th year of running in the school holidays and also their end of year concert.
