THE Coffs Harbour Comets have won their fourth straight match after a 32-22 victory away from home against the Macksville Sea Eagles, during Round 9 of the Tooheys New Group 2 Rugby League season.
After being last on the ladder last month with a 1-4 record, the Comets have turned their season around to move into third spot on the ladder.
The Sea Eagles have had the polar opposite season having lost their past five matches after winning their opening four games of the season.
The Bellingen Valley/Dorrigo Magpies maintained second spot on the ladder with a 32-22 win on the road against the South Grafton Rebels.
And the Grafton Ghosts showed why they sit at the top of the ladder with a 24-8 win at home against the Woolgoolga Seahorses.
The Tooheys New Group 2 Rugby League season continues this weekend with Round 10 matches.
The second placed Bellingen Valley/Dorrigo Magpies host the third placed Coffs Harbour Comets in the match of the round at Bellingen.
Woolgoolga Seahorses host the Macksville Sea Eagles, while the South Grafton Rebels host the Grafton Ghosts in their local derby.
