A SLOW start getting our Club Championships underway this year, with Covid and wet weather getting in the way. Finally got the Club Major Singles completed with a win to Brenda Fane.
Brenda played Shirley Willis in the final, who made a great start to the game but Brenda slowly came back to be on equal footing and then slowly pulled away with a four on one end giving her a good advantage.
Congratulations to both players on a terrific final.
