Applications For Postal Votes open

WORK, travel, illness and mobility issues can all impact your ability to get to the polling booth on election day.

For those who can’t attend in person, applications for postal votes are now open.

The 2023 NSW State election will be held on 25 March 2023.

You can apply for a Postal Vote if you will be unable to attend a voting centre on election day during voting hours (8.00am – 6.00pm).

Registered General Postal Voters do not need to apply for these.

A postal vote pack will be sent out to you when it is available.

For a state election or by-elections the Electoral Commission NSW must receive your postal vote application by 6pm on the Monday before election day.

Your completed ballot papers and postal vote certificate must be received by the NSW Electoral Commission no later than 6pm on 6 April.
