“We are working closely with the police to ensure extra patrols occur and there is also a security company that patrols the school grounds on a regular basis.”

Mr Hudson said the break-ins and theft were “an inconvenience for both the staff and students.”

“It’s very disappointing when school property is stolen as students miss out on using the resources while they are being replaced,” Mr Hudson said.

Community members are reminded that no one is permitted on school grounds after hours, during weekends and holidays without prior permission from the Principal.

Police are requesting members of the public with any information relating to the incident to contact them.
