The Matt Smith Memorial Concert will be held at Bulahdelah Central School (BCS) on Thursday 15 December.
The annual event is organised by the Student Representative Council (SRC) to honour the memory of 2011 BCS School Captain Matt Smith.
Students both past and present, staff and community members will perform during the two-hour long concert.
Year 12 SRC Member Kaitlyn Gregory said the afternoon is important to reflect on Matt’s values and also acknowledge his passion for music and drama.
“He had a big impact on the school and was someone we should all aim to be as students,” she said.
“I think that it is important that we all share our talents and support each other in what we are doing, it is something Matt would have done for the students.”
Kaitlyn told News Of The Area the afternoon concert is always a lot of fun and a great way to finish the school year.
The concert will commence at 1pm in the BCS school gym.
