Dressed in stunning frocks and stylish suits, the students gathered at Bulahdelah Golf Club and posed for hundreds of photographs capturing memories that will last a lifetime.

Taylor Garemyn and her friends arrived in style, stepping out of a 1949 Chevrolet driven by her father Andrew.

“We thought it was cool getting out of a fancy car,” Taylor said.

“It was originally my Pop’s car and now my Dad’s.”

The young adults were joined by their parents and school staff for the evening, with a mix of nostalgia and celebration experienced during the formal speeches.

Speaking on behalf of the graduating class, Shae Finch, Tamara Gooch and Bianca Mason acknowledged the guidance and assistance from their teachers over many years.

“We also thank our parents for their support and encouragement throughout this long and bumpy road,” Bianca said.

“You were our taxi service, our ATM, our chefs and our counsellors, but most importantly, you backed us all the way.”

Parent Steve Locke, Relieving Principal Deb Gilbert and Year Advisor Wendy Parsons wished the graduating class all the best for their futures.

“I am going to miss seeing my friends and teachers every day,” Year 12 student Emma Miller told News Of The Area.

“I am proud to make it to the end and graduate with my friends,” Kiara Fadell added.

Although the future will take the students in different directions, Tim To said he hopes everyone will stay in contact and catch up regularly.

The 39 graduating students came from Bulahdelah, Karuah, Stroud, Hawks Nest, Smiths Lakes and everywhere in between.
