The Soccer Club consists of a Committee that processes registrations, organises coaches for each Town Comp team and for the Minis and the parents are on a roster to help with setting up, working at the canteen, manning the BBQ and packing up.

But volunteers and sponsorship is an important part of keeping the club running.

This year, as well as all the local businesses like Barry Bros. Butchers, Bulahdelah Post Office, Leo’s Fruit Shop, Great Lakes Realty, Bulahdelah Bakery, Autism Understanding and AJW Miles and Sons Accounting, Bulahdelah Soccer Club have a new sponsor.

Busways are now generously supporting the Club and are proud to be part of the soccer community.

A number of bus-drivers were able to turn up on Saturday 9 May to have their photo taken with the players.

A spokesperson for Bulahdelah Busways told Myall Coast News, “Busways actually sponsors a number of soccer clubs in Sydney.”

“I thought it was important for Busways to get involved with the Bulahdelah Soccer Club because since the bypass has been built it has been tough for some businesses in this town financially so it would be good for Busways to donate to a regional team as well as the city teams.”
