Christmas Markets are coming to Bowraville on 11 December

 

BOWRAVILLE is holding Christmas Markets on 11 December.

The markets will take place on the eastern side of High Street, Bowraville, in and around the Community Hall.

Uncle Martin Ballangarry will be delivering the Welcome to Country at 9:00 am.

Stalls will consist of homegrown local produce, and delicacies including fruit, vegetables and seasonal herbs.

There will be soaps, candles, greeting cards, glassware, jewellery, and bauble Christmas tree hangings on sale.

For those with a sweet tooth gluten free cakes, jams will be on offer, as well as chutneys, fresh eggs, toys and plants.

“This is a wonderful opportunity to welcome locals and visitors alike to our beautiful area and surroundings,” said a spokesperson for Visit Bowraville.

The Phoenix Gallery and Café and the Bowraville Hotel will be open for coffee and meals, and a few well-known food truck vendors will be in attendance.

Come along and make a day of the festivities, buy some Christmas presents, and listen to the street buskers.

There will be about 30 stalls selling from 9:00 am – 11:00 pm.

Bowraville Markets supports the Pioneer Community Centre managed by Bowraville Community Development Association Inc (BCDAI).

There is still table space available for the cost of $5.00 a table.
