Surely no one can point the finger the ALP for not delivering for Coffs Harbour residents. It’s been sixty years since the residents voted Labor in the Cowper federal electorate and never have, they voted for the ALP in the Coffs Harbour state electorate. If residents want things done at the local level, they have to send a message to federal and state politicians that they cannot be taken for granted. The former government said no to residential development knowing full well they wouldn’t be in government by the time anything was done, so the two local LNP members can say they tried when they really didn’t. If you want things done make the seat marginal and never whinge about any abomination if you don’t. Reply
