The rising main will relieve pressure on the existing sewer network and significantly reduce the risk of sewer overflows occurring during wet weather events.

The project is part of a $45 million upgrade to the Tea Gardens and Hawks Nest sewerage system.

A community drop-in session is being held on Thursday 23 March 2023 from 05:30 pm – 07:30 pm at Tea Gardens Public School.
