This year the children aged from as young as two, up to adults were involved in dances with a Walt Disney Theme.

The children have been working on items and choreography all year in preparation for the concert, where each child has a chance to shine on stage with professional costumes, lighting, sound and projections.

Miss Corynne from Dance ‘n Dazzle told News Of The Area, “Along with my dedicated staff, I am proud to say we have nurtured each of the students confidence and taught them skills in communication, teamwork, coordination and fitness.”

“The students performed a range of dance styles including jazz, tap, classical ballet, lyrical, contemporary, hip hop, acrobatics and cheerleading.”

The audience recognised the familiar face who was the compere of the show, Miss Kim from the old days of Romper Room.

Two scholarships for classes were awarded on the night to Ebony Deguara and Heidi Farley.

Examination scholarships in tap, jazz, classical ballet and National Character were also awarded, as well as ten year trophies for students who have reached this special milestone of dancing with Dance ‘n Dazzle.

These were awarded to Charlotte Dougherty, Jasmyn Williams and Maddison Cunningham.

Every student was awarded with a trophy in their Open Classes the following week as well as many special awards for Consistent Effort, Encouragement and Most Improved.

Classes are held out of Wirreanda Public School MPC and Hall and they cater for all abilities offering both weekday and weekend classes.

Dance ‘n Dazzle Studio is also offering FREE Holiday Dance Classes on Wednesday 24th January 2018 as a fun activity for anyone looking to give dancing a try.
