NELSON Bay View Club featured a parade of Easter hats judged by guest speaker Ryan Palmer, President of Tomaree Business Chamber at this month’s meeting.

“Ryan Palmer gave an interesting insight on planned improvements to Nelson Bay,” Margaret Wilkinson, Nelson Bay View Club’s publicity officer told Bay News Of The Area.
Next month the Club is privileged to have as their guest speaker for the 4 May luncheon, Linda Emery, researcher and historian for the popular television series “Who Do you Think You Are?”
The cost is $25 and the function begins at 11am at Soldiers Point Bowling Club.
The Club has arranged an exciting Cavalcade of Exquisite Craft afternoon featuring the works of Olive O’Kane and other talented presenters to be held on Saturday May 13, at 2pm in the Community Hall at Norburn Avenue, Nelson Bay.
Limited tickets are available at a cost of $20 from Black Pepper at Salamander or any VIEW Club member and includes a delicious afternoon tea.
The funds raised from this function will go towards sponsorship of 10 Learning for Life students to assist with their education.
“This is one event on the calendar not to be missed by anyone with a love of craft,” Ms Wilkinson said.
