THE Fingal Bay Bomboras have been fitted out with their new jerseys and certainly look the part as they prepare for the season.

The Bommies are working hard towards the challenge of playing in the A-grade competition for the first time in their 20-year history.
At training during the week, the boys worked hard on defensive structures, and getting their combinations in attack right.
“The line up is impressive and numbers are on track with new faces all over the park,” manager Stuart McDonald said.
Coach Bo Earl will be spoiled for choice in a few key positions, retaining most of last year’s team.
“The team is looking forward to the challenge after taking the B-grade title,” Mr McDonald said.
Over the next few months the Bommies have two trial games (18 March 5pm kick off at Fingal Bay Oval vs North Newcastle and 25 March at Glendale vs Cardiff) to get ready for the season kick off soon after.
These games will give Bo Earl a chance to get his best team on the field come round 1.
“If there are any budding footy enthusiasts out there who would like to get involved in a great family-orientated club, please get down to Fingal Oval Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6pm and meet the guys,” Mr McDonald said.
The team will be sure to make any newcomers feel very welcome.
This week’s trial game will be a twilight game held at Fingal.
Kick off is at 5pm and the Bommies would love to have a strong crowd there to support them.
The Fingal Bay Bomboras would also like to thank all their sponsors for the 2017 season.
If any other local businesses want to jump on board, please call Stuart McDonald on 0401 557 281.
