Fingal Bay finished in second place this year to Minor Premiers Dora Creek, who only lost one game all season (to Tea Gardens)

Fingal lost to Shortland in the Qualifying Final but then beat Tea Gardens convincingly by 40-12 in the sudden death Final.

Fingal Bay played Dora Creek in the Preliminary Final for a spot in the GF and won 32-12 at Lakeside Oval Raymond Terrace.

Shortland played South Newcastle in the other Preliminary Final and won 26-22
Fingal Bay will now play Shortland in the A Grade Grand Final next week at No 1 Sports Ground in Newcastle.

Fingal Bay Captain Coach Bo Earl has been mentored this year by former Newcastle Knight and coach Michael Hagan who has been a great mentor and motivator to the team helping them to believe in themselves.

The team urges all locals and supporters to come to the game.

Buses will more than likely be organised.
