THE weekend weather was far cooler than the few previous fishing outings held this season.

The midday fishing session was enjoyable and lacking any scorching heat.

The amount of club members and guests joining in for the social club fishing outing increased due to the comfortable

temperatures for the anglers to participate in their chosen hobbies.

The weekend angling champion and men's division angling champion was Darby Neville catching a great haul of bream, tailor, whiting and snapper .

The men's division runner up angler was Trevor Peirson who caught some great bream and whiting .

The ladies weekend angling champion was Gail Bartlett , catching a swag of bream, flathead and whiting .

The ladies runner up angler was Michelle Cole who caught a fantastic bag of tailor and a bream .

The mystery fish drawn from the hat was a teraglin and was not won. Great Angling.
