Crazy tourist season, survived.

To Karuah bowlers, that can only mean one thing, the new bowling year is starting.

The first regular mid-week social days have started on Tuesday’s and Thursday’s with big fields, names by 0930 and first bowls at 1000 and this weekend the first club championship, Mens 4’s has kicked off.

Some new faces at the club this year have already been made very welcome.

This welcome is is warmly provided to new bowlers and experienced transferees into one of the friendliest clubs in the state.

New bowlers are eased into the sport with free lessons and a gentle introduction.

Transferees are warmly incorporated into club teams and valued for the experience and skill they bring.

Exciting times as the bowls year kicks off. It’s a great sport sometimes unfairly maligned by those who think it’s only for the old and usually by those who have never tried it.

If you want to give this exciting, skillful and social sport a try, ring the RSL Club, you might just be surprised.

See you at Karuah.
