Karuah hold out Dungog in a tough game of league

The Karuah Roo’s took on Dungog at Lionel Morten Oval on Saturday.

The first half saw the Roos Mitchell O’Bryan in for a try in the opening minutes it was converted by Sam Croese making the score 6/0.

Some good runs by Sam Croese, Trent Saunders, Jordan Cobb, Aden Callaghan and Ben Langdon.

There were big hits by Tama Riordan, Ben Langdon, Mitchell Napier, Dylan Foley, Jason Stewart, Trent Saunders and Aden Callaghan.

A solid run by Jordan with a nice ball to put Mitchell O’Bryan over for his second try of the day taking the score to 12/0.

Then Dungog final put points on the board before half time making the half time score 12/6 Roo’s way.

It was almost half way into the second half before any points were scored.

It was Trent Saunders to cross the try line for the Roo’s.

Big hits in the second half by Zac Cobb, Mitchell O’Bryan, Tim Johnson, Jack Croese, Ji Stamp-Cook and Trent Saunders.

And solid runs in the second half by Luke Perry, Darren Weatherall, Taylor White, Tim Johnson, Mitchell Napier, Jordan Cobb, Mitchell O’Bryan, Jack Croese, Aden Callaghan, Tama Riordan, Ben Langdon and Dwayne Fleming.

The final score was Karuah 16 Dungog 12.
