It was a cold, wet and very hard game.

The Rooette’s kicked off and it was on.

The Metre makers were Tamara Smith, Jessica Pollard, Ashley Bills, Sarsha Venables, Jessica Neilson, Ashlie Grande, Tayla Wilson, Meagan Terry, Kelly Johnson, Kelsey Wade, Teagan Ridgeway, Jacqui Gornall, Helena Bills, Lilli Holmes and Annie Goodridge.

Big Hitters in the first half were Meagan Terry, Ashley Bills, Ebony Oakley, Jessica Neilson, Sarsha Venables, Ashlie Grande, Jacqui Gornall, Helena Bills, Tayla Wilson, Kelly Johnson, Kelsey Wade, Teagan Ridgeway, Tamara Smith, Lilli Holmes, Kayla Campbell and Annie Goldridge.

Kayla Campbell had a try disallowed in the corner just before half time.

The defence was on fire and the halftime score was NIL all.

Awabakal was the first to score just under 4minutes into the second half 4/0.

Then again 10 minutes in with a successful conversion to take the score to 10/0.

The Runners in the second half were Jessica Neilson, Kelly Johnson, Tamara Smith, Kelsey Wade, Annie Goldridge, Sarsha Venables, Tayla Wilson, Ashley Bills, Teagan Ridgeway, Kayla Campbell, Ashlie Grande and Ebony Oakley.

Ashlie Grande was also disallowed her try.

The big hitters in the second half were Ebony Oakley, Tayla Wilson, Meagan Terry, Jacqui Gornall, Jessica Neilson, Kayla Campbell, Sarsha Venables, Teagan Ridgeway, Annie Goldridge, Tamara Smith, Ashley Bills, Ashlie Grande and Helena Bills.

Awabakal was over again within 3 minutes to go to take the full-time score to 14/0.

A fantastic effort by the 18 ladies that took to the field.

Players Player 3 points was a tie between Captain Ashley Bills and Lilli Holmes, 2 points went to Sarsha Venables.

Coaches Award went to Kelly Johnson and Sponsors Choice was Ashlie Grande.

The Roos didn’t play due to forfeit.
