The two teams faced each other three times last year with the locals proving too strong in all games including a semi final.

The game was a classic battle with 2 points separating the sides for most of the game until Abermain skipped 4 points clear with less than 10mins to go and defended their hearts out to deny the Roo’s any further points.

The final score was 18-14 which saw Karuah losing at home for the first time in more than a full season.

Mitchell O’Bryan #4 scored 2 tries and Tama Riordan #5 scored 1 try Joshua Page #7 converted only 1 try.

Players player went to Alex Simon 3point, Ben Langdon 2 points, Mitchell O’Bryan 1 point.

Coaches Award went to Jason Stewart, Man on the Hill was Sam Croese, with the Pink Singlet going to Bradley Jokinen.

Our next game is the 2 May, a Grand Final rematch against Williamtown at home, with a 2pm kick off.

Come along and support the mighty Roo’s. Game day sponsor is Karuah Working Together.
