U13s Sharks played Thornton in Karuah on Saturday.

Batting first, Sharks had a slow start against some good bowling reaching a modest total 8 for 87.

Best for Sharks, Lucas Barry 15, Harry Plummer 14 and not out Brabndon Nott 10, Cooper Bramsten 6.

Sharks started strong and were sharp in the field taking early wickets and bowling the visitors out in the 14th over for 44.

Best with the ball Angus Plummer 4 for 12, Ben Woolard and Brandon Nott both taking 2 wickets each.

Great team effort.

C Grade: SHARKS travelled to Gresford for their second win in as many weeks.

Sharks bowling was strong.

Gresford 2 for 80 at the 21 over drinks break with strong batting in the second half of the innings reaching 192.

Sharks were in trouble from the second over of the game.

9 for 44 at the drinks break and being bowled out for 60.
