IN last week’s Bay News Of The Area (page 12) you gave the golf results of the local clubs.

The paper refers to the Nelson Bay Veterans group’s annual Kutcha award.

This cup was presented by Dr Stan Kutcha of Salamander Medical Practice.

Affectionately known as the “Dad’s Army Trophy” it was won this year by Richard Thompson.

He looked so chuffed with himself that I grabbed him on my phone camera.
